ECCENTRIC PLUG VALVE
Eccentric plug valves deal with liquids, gases, viscous fluids, and corrosive fluids.
The MASCOT EFlo eccentric plug valve is a high-performance rotary globe valve designed for precision control and extended lifespan with enhanced safety features. It stands out as a safety-focused, cost-effective, and feature-rich eccentric rotary plug valve catering to applications requiring higher range-ability, precise control, and increased flow capacity.
Our eccentric plug control valves can handle demanding applications across various industries with minimal maintenance and represent the latest quarter-turn control valve technology advancements.
Built with an eccentric rotary plug, these valves are perfect for controlling the flow of liquids, gases, and slurries.
The offset plug mechanism provides tight shut-off, reduced wear, and extended service life. So, if you need an eccentric rotary plug control valve for industrial use, general-purpose eccentric valves or severe service eccentric plug valves, MASCOT has the solution for your every need.
Features
- Extended Rangeability: The valve offers an impressive range-ability of up to 160:1, surpassing typical globe control valves (50:1) and butterfly valves (20:1). This makes it ideal for applications demanding precise control over a wide range and higher flow capacity.
- Accurate Control: The EFlo features a polygon connection between the shaft and plug which reduces backlash as compared to square or splined connection. Due to the elimination of backlash, it offers higher strength in applications where the flow induced torque reversal or shocks are possible.
- Non-Crossover Shaft Design: Features a heavy-duty, non-crossover shaft that avoids the valve’s flow path. This design not only allows for higher flow capacity for a given valve size but also prevents shaft damage from erosive process fluids, distinguishing it from competitors with straight-thru shafts.
- End-Post Design: The end-post is meticulously engineered for precision, ruggedness, and positive retention, ensuring smooth and precise movement. The design eliminates the possibility of the end post being lost downstream, contributing to improved reliability and extended valve life.
- Separate Bonnet: The separate bonnet design ensures deeper packing depth and higher service temperatures as a standard. It also assures positive anti-blowout.
- Integral Noise Attenuation and Cavitation Control Options: The valve can be offered with integral downstream plates, which reduce the noise or cavitation downstream of the valve. The plate can be easily replaced using the same tools as the seat retainer and does not affect the face-to-face of the valve.
- Low Breakout Torque: The eccentric design ensures low breakout torque which results in smooth control and longer life.
